Its the Year of the PIG!
February 5, 2019 was the beginning of Chinese New Year also known as Spring Festival and the Year of the Pig. Celebrations include fireworks, family gatherings, giving red envelopes, decorating with chunlian and visiting with friends and relatives.
We would like you to celebrate with us as we are now part of this culture as a result of opening our new office last year in Cebu, Philippines.
The Pig is the 12th in the 12-year cycle of Chinese zodiac sign. The pig is not thought to be a smart animal in China. It likes sleeping and eating and becomes fat. Thus, it usually features laziness and clumsiness.
In the Philippines the pig is a sign of bountifulness, a staple cuisine called Lechon that is commonly reserved only for special occasion such as festivities or celebrations.
To celebrate this Year of the Pig we are hosting a fun contest with a vacation surprise.
