Auggie™ our AI Machine Learning genius is back in school studying all aspects of warranty claims processing across all service industries. His focus is learning how to apply predictive data analytics to power the next generation for our claims processing solution, “ClaimWorks.”

When Auggie completes his education, in the coming weeks, he will provide direction to our software engineering team to make modifications to ClaimWorks that will forever change the way claims are processed by virtually eliminating all errors prior to submission to the various claims portals.

The goal is to get our service company’ clients’ claims processed virtually error free, so they achieve the highest acceptance rate possible for payment.

According to Auggie this is a big deal since many claims submitted by service companies for reimbursement either contain errors and/or missing information that can be corrected or are rejected and go unpaid.

When Auggie graduates in the coming few months he will work with the software engineering team to make modifications to ClaimWorks. This will change the claims processing industry by virtually eliminating all errors. 

Here are some of the tasks Auggie is learning to automate

– Making modifications to the customers complaint to remove personal information like gate code, phone numbers, and comments that do not relate to the service call

 – Reading technician notes and explaining exactly what he did at the consumers home and removing unnecessary information which might cause confusion

– Checking each parts distributors assigned number by brand to ensure the claim gets to the right distributor for validation

– Filling in missing fields such as Job Code, Repair Code, Symptom Code, F-ident Code, Defect Code, warranty type and repair type

– Checking and validating dates; matching purchase date to entitlement/registration date, making sure the dates are in consecutive order, confirming claims are submitted upon completion

– Validating the labor requested against the service performed so that the claim is not underpaid on a major repair such as a compressor was replaced for example

Auggie’s graduation is planned for late August.
