“The main reason I joined the Biggest Loser challenge was to rebuild a healthier routine, learn how to eat better, and bring back healthy habits I can stick to for life. I started being more mindful of what I eat, cutting back on carbs and sugar, eating more protein, and making a commitment to walk 10,000 steps every afternoon since January 5. The hardest part was the first two weeks because I had to adjust to a new way of eating, but I kept the faith and pushed through without giving up. After that, each day got easier and felt like a walk in the park. Now that I’ve completed the challenge, I feel more confident and proud of myself for reaching my goals in such a short time. If you’re thinking about starting a healthier lifestyle, my advice is to start small and find the courage to begin. Do what works best for you, whether it’s changing your diet or exercising more. Set your goals, stay committed, and never give up because it’s all for your own good.”

“During my pregnancy last year, I had elevated blood pressure and was classified as high-risk. After giving birth, my blood pressure did not go back to normal. The only way for me to get it back to normal was losing weight. I again decided to join because it motivated me to lose weight. Having another child, one I waited for and prayed for a long time, also motivated me to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, joining the BLC has helped me achieved that. I now choose healthy foods and just consuming proper portions while staying physically active. I do exercises and walk outside three times a week or when time permits. The most challenging part of this journey is when my husband cooks delicious food and hosts birthday parties, and the food is all over the place. I avoided to feast and just have a portion. I know adopting new, healthier habits will help me avoid health problems and finally ,my BP has returned to normal. New habits, like healthy eating and regular physical activity, also help me manage my weight and have more energy. After a while, I know if I stick with these changes, they may become part of my daily routine. My advice to my fellow moms or women out there who have had my same issue.”

“I joined the Biggest Loser challenge to push myself beyond my limits and prove that I’m capable of real change. I wanted to challenge myself and see what I could achieve. To make it happen, I completely changed my daily routine from the moment I woke up to when I went to bed. Exercise became something I had to do every day, and I made a consistent effort to choose healthier habits. The most difficult part was hitting a plateau and feeling stuck at a certain weight even with all the effort I was putting in. But I kept reminding myself why I started, stayed focused, and didn’t stop even when the progress was slow. Now, I feel stronger and healthier than ever, both physically and mentally. I’ve built resilience and confidence, knowing I can handle any challenge if I stay committed. For anyone thinking about starting a healthier lifestyle, my advice is to remember that change doesn’t happen overnight. It takes daily choices, patience, and trust in the process, but the results are absolutely worth it.”
