Your access to and use of the Website is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Policy. It applies to everyone, including but not limited to visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of it, then you do not have our permission to access or use the Website.
What information we collect through the Website
We collect any and all information that you enter on this Website. We collect the following information about you:

The Nexus Companion app
Nexus Companion is a work application published by JustPressOne, Inc. It is used by employees and contractors of organizations that run the Nexus contact center platform. You cannot sign up on your own. Your employer or client creates your account and controls it.
Your employer decides how the underlying Nexus workspace is configured and how long records are kept, so their own privacy notice applies to you as well as this one.
What the app collects
The app holds your account information: your name, email address, and the phone identity your organization assigns you. We use it to sign you in and to show teammates who is handling a call or a conversation.
When you take a call or work a text conversation, the app sends and receives the content of that work. That means phone numbers, message text, call timing, and which agent handled what. This is business communication owned by your organization, and it is stored in their Nexus workspace.
The app registers a push token with Apple so incoming calls and messages can reach your phone when the app is closed. The token identifies the device, not you personally.
If the app crashes, we receive a crash report through Google Firebase Crashlytics, including the device model, iOS version, and where in the code the failure happened. Crash reports help us fix bugs and nothing else.
Voice calls use the microphone while a call is active. Audio goes to the call, and the app does not record it locally.
What the app does not do
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
With whom we share your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share information submitted through the Website with third parties for their own purposes.
Three service providers process data so the Nexus Companion app can work:
- Twilio carries the voice calls and text messages
- Apple delivers push notifications
- Google Firebase receives crash and performance diagnostics
Each of them handles the data only to provide their part of the service. We also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information submitted through the Website for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the business relationship.
Your Nexus account exists as long as your organization keeps it. Call and message records live in your organization's Nexus workspace under their retention settings. Crash reports are deleted on Firebase's standard schedule.
Exercising your rights
You can turn off push notifications in your device settings, though you will stop receiving incoming calls and messages on the phone. You can deny microphone access, which disables calling. Signing out removes your credentials from the device.
Because your employer administers your Nexus account, requests to see, correct, or delete your account information should go to them first. If you would rather contact us directly, use the address below and we will work with them on it.
Residents of Nevada may opt out of future sales of personal information by submitting a consumer request to info@justpressone.com.
Children's privacy
This Website is intended for use by a general audience and does not offer services to children. Should a child whom we know to be under 18 send personal information to us, we will use that information only to respond to that child to inform him or her that they cannot use this Website.
Nexus Companion is a workplace tool. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the updated Privacy Policy to this website or application, and by changing the date at the top of this page.
